Analog Devices is seeking an Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer who will participate in analysis, research, design, simulation, characterization, and release-to-production of high-performance, high-speed integrated circuits, working as part of the world’s leading high-speed data converter team. The team has an excellent track record of producing breakthrough, innovative technologies including RF DACs and ADCs, based on a variety of architectures and in cutting-edge process technologies. Products have won industry and academic recognition at conferences such as ISSCC. The candidate must have demonstrated coursework and projects in state-of-the-art process technologies and should exhibit a strong, intuitive capability in solving complex challenges. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and be able to work effectively within a team.
Qualifications
 
Education and Experience Requirements:
M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with relevant coursework and projects in analog or mixed signal CMOS design
 
Additional Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of circuits such as low noise amplifiers, precision voltage and current references, LDOs. Exposure to data converter circuits and architectures is beneficial but not required
  • Coursework or projects experience demonstrating grasp of high-frequency design techniques, and strong intuitive and analytical capability
  • Experience in Cadence or other schematic capture and SPICE simulation tools
  • Signal processing knowledge is a strong plus
  • Experience with MATLAB
  • Knowledge and experience with laboratory equipment: multimeters, spectrum analyzers, frequency generators, power supplies, etc.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work in a large team
