Analog Devices is looking for a highly motivated Product Quality Engineer who will drive “Zero Defect” and continuous improvement culture. This position will be part of Product Quality Engineering organization at San Jose CA, working on automotive, industrial/healthcare, commercial, mobile, etc. products and lead cross functional problem-solving 8D activities.
In this role, your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
- Product Quality Engineer will drive global corrective and preventive actions (8D - - Problem solving) teams related to customer and internal quality issues.
- Work closely with failure analysis, design, application, product, test engineering and customer quality engineering to resolve customer quality issues (RMA) in a timely manner.
- Drive continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Good understanding of circuits and device physics.
- Good understanding of SPC, DOE and structured problem solving.
- Effective priority setting, Self-motivated, ability to work collaboratively with peers and team members.
- Ability to make decision and effectively interface with customers, design, test, application, customer quality engineering and other functions at all levels.
- Work as a change agent who accepts and supports new ideas and processes.
- Drive “Zero Defects” mentality and continuous improvement culture.
- Excellent ability of multi-tasking, time management and customer focus.
- Must be proactive with ability to balance competing priorities, manage unplanned events and different personalities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The wage range for a new hire into this position is $76,820 to $105,628.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, training, external market data, internal equity, or other bona fide factors.
  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
