The instrumentation market group is seeking an instrumentation systems designer to join our team to drive growth and adoption of Analog Devices products in the instrumentation market.
An instrumentation systems design engineer works closely with a cross-functional team of marketing, applications, and design engineers to drive ADI’s strategy for precision test and measurement systems, identify optimal system-level solutions, and influence new product definition.
Responsibilities

  • Close customer interaction to clearly understand the key challenges to be solved across multiple technology domains within our instrumentation market focus.   
  • Translate the customer problem statement into system architectures comprising multiple ADI technologies and signal chains.
  • Sales & Customer support throughout the development process to deliver mutual success, including providing the correct architecture definition, system level hardware, software development and supporting collateral.
  • Clear communication to internal and external stakeholders including customers, partners, team members, and collaborating ADI teams.
  • Grow strong technical and business networks across ADI & leverage to create differentiating solutions.
  • Identification of emerging technology trends in INS markets and translation of these into product proposals that drive the development of ADI’s business and technology roadmaps.
  • Build technical & business expertise within the wider systems applications team
Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Software Engineering or equivalent with coursework or projects showing experience in systems applications or hardware development
  • System level hardware and software development experience necessary.
  • Technically savvy and showing an aptitude for new and innovative technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to articulate system requirements as part of a broader strategy
  • Good team player, who enjoys working in a highly dynamic team environment
