Analog Devices is seeking a senior Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer who will participate in architecture exploration, product definition, transistor-level circuit design, computer simulation, bench characterization, and release-to-production of high-performance, high-precision integrated circuits, chiplets and heterogeneously integrated modules, working as part of the world’s leading precision analog and data converter platform architecture team. The team has an excellent track record of producing breakthrough, innovative technologies including state-of-art amplifiers, ADCs, DACs, and mixed-signal integrated products using a variety of process technologies. Products have won extensive recognition in industry publications and at professional conferences and have the potential to reach millions of end users around the globe.
The qualified candidate will collaborate with a worldwide network of highly experienced designers and will contribute to the development of various circuit blocks in signal chain systems. S/he should be self-motivated and be able to coordinate effectively with a team of multiple engineers from other disciplines (such as layout, test, packaging, software, and applications). The successful candidate must have a strong, intuitive capability in solving complex challenges.
Education and Experience Requirements:
M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with experience in analog circuit design
Additional Qualifications:
- Profound understanding of CMOS (and preferably Bipolar) transistor-level circuit design, operational amplifiers, and other common linear building blocks
- Profound understanding of frequency domain analysis, feedback theory, and noise analysis
- Basic understanding of device structure and fabrication
- Basic understanding of data converters
- Demonstrated experience working with state-of-the-art process technologies is advantageous
- Good written and verbal communication skills, ability to work in a large team, and share knowledge with colleagues
