Analog Devices is seeking a Digital Design Engineer who will participate in architecture, definition, research, design, simulation, characterization, and release-to-production of high-performance, high-speed integrated circuits, chiplets and heterogeneously integrated modules, working as part of the world’s leading precision analog and data converter platform architecture team.  The team has an excellent track record of producing breakthrough, innovative technologies including state-of-art DACs, ADCs and mixed-signal integrated products based on a variety of process technologies.  Products have won extensive recognition in industry publications and at professional conferences.  The qualified candidate will contribute to the development of digital signal processing and control processors tightly integrated with data acquisition front ends as well as higher level application-specific functions, including software-defined functions and AI-based architectures.
 
The successful candidate must have a strong, intuitive capability in solving complex challenges. The candidate will be self-motivated and be able to work effectively within a team.  Demonstrated experience working with in state-of-the-art process technologies is also highly valued.
 
Education and Experience Requirements:
M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with experience in CMOS design
 
Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience in digital design, computer architecture or digitally-intensive data converter design. 
  • Basic understanding of analog circuits and data converters is advantageous.
  • Signal processing knowledge in related fields such as data converter calibration, scientific metrology, industrial process control, imaging, communications, sensor signal conditioning, etc. is a strong plus  to calibration algorithms.
  • Experience with MATLAB, for example used as a behavioral modeling tool.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work in a large team.
