Web Tools Intern

The Precision Signal Chain Tools group develops web applications that our customers use to design circuits using ADI products.  Circuit components in our tools include sensors, op amps, instrumentation amplifiers, and ADCs.  We develop simulation models using various techniques to enable quick and accurate simulation of our devices.  Several of our tools can be found at  https://tools.analog.com/en/precisionstudio/
 
Responsibilities include:

  • Testing new code and features, and troubleshooting issues to determine cause and possible solutions
  • Collecting and processing data to build simulation models for new parts to add to tools
  • Comparing results from various simulation tools - web tools vs. LTspice vs. measured bench data
  • Troubleshooting customer-reported issues, and documenting issues that need to be addressed/resolved
  • Implementing fixes in code, as well as corresponding unit tests
  • Editing schematic templates for dynamic schematic generation
 
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science program
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Willingness to learn software tools and processes: Jira, Git, JavaScript
