Preventative Maintenance Intern - Summer 2023, Clackamas, OR

Pacific Seafood offers a unique, 12-week internship program that gives interns the chance to make an immediate impact on our company. Starting with a structured orientation week at our corporate headquarters near Portland, Ore, you’ll be able to meet the team and learn the full scope of our business. Throughout the summer months, you’ll dive deep into a meaningful project for our company, which you’ll then present to our executive leadership team at the end of your internship. This internship will have the unique opportunity to work with our team in Clackamas, OR to evaluate and develop our preventive maintenance program. You will also support the team by maintaining data, organize parts, and more. You will partner with the maintenance team and others to learn about our current processes, systems, and procedures to identify and implement quantifiable improvements.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and Teamwork) at all times
  • Collect details, document, and implement a Preventative Maintenance program for the facility
  • Data entry of our preventive maintenance
  • Organize Parts – create an effective layout and system
  • Prepare project overview and present findings to executive leadership.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
 
What You Bring to Pacific Seafood
Required
  • Pursuit of an Engineering or related undergraduate/graduate degree
  • Strong Computer skills in MS Office Suite
  • Experience or exposure to CMMS Software
 
Preferred
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Targeted graduation of June 2023 or earlier
  • Experience with MaintainX
