Facilities Process Systems Engineering Rotation Program - Chemical/Mechanical

Our rotation program gives you the opportunity to develop valuable skills in a collaborative environment that will provide you direct contact with key leaders across TI. Along the way you’ll receive coaching and training to help position you for a long and successful career where you’ll be inspired to innovate, collaborate and make a true impact. In this program, you’ll be immersed in meaningful assignments giving you real-world experience and a sense of ownership. As a participant in the program you’ll rotate through two diverse and challenging positions within Facilities during a 2-year period. Rotations will take place in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
About the Job
As a Mechanical Engineering rotator in the Facilities Organization at TI, you will have the opportunity to solve problems related to thermodynamics, heat transfer, gas and fluid mechanics, process control, and psychometric processes. Focus areas include cost and energy reduction, plant and process safety improvements, reliability improvement and system design. In your role as a system owner, you will support industrial HVAC, cleanroom, compressed air, cooling water or process exhaust systems for our manufacturing operations. As a Chemical Engineering rotator in the Facilities Organization at TI, you will have the opportunity to solve problems related to the generation, storage and delivery of over 50 varieties of chemicals and gasses. You may also focus on ultrapure water generation or industrial waste water treatment and reuse. Focus areas include cost and energy reduction, plant and process safety improvements, reliability improvement and system design. Minimum Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelors or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA
