Utah Public Radio Tres Spanish news reporter/producer
Spanish News General Assignment Reporter will work with Utah Public Radio news director and news team to report on local, state and regional issues such as state and city government, USU research and events, education, health, environment, arts and culture, and work to develop a beat in these or other areas.
Duties include scheduling and conducting audio interviews in person and online or telephone, digital editing, script writing, voicing, social media, attending weekly news meetings and generating story ideas. Experience in journalism and communication, writing, reporting, and digital editing on audio platforms such as Adobe Audition is preferred however, training will be provided on reporting from the ground up. Must be able to meet daily and weekly deadlines and ability to work well with others. Bilingual students encouraged to apply.
