Description:   Non-exempt hourly position, with competitive rate depending on experience and qualifications

Summary:

3D modeling and 2D drafting of schematic and detailed construction documents used in planning and construction of mechanical and plumbing building systems by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from engineers and designers.
  • Plot drawings showing architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical items as required for project coordination and for the generation of mechanical engineering drawings.
  • Adhere to company standards and overall appearance and completeness of drawings; i.e. company standard symbology, current title block, drawing title, scale, keynote references, formatting, grammar and punctuation.
  • 3D modeling and 2D drafting of schematic and detailed plans used for the installation and specification of mechanical building systems.

Education and/or Experience:

Minimum of a high school/GED diploma, and post-graduate training and competency in AutoCAD, Revit

Special Tools, Equipment or Learned Skills:

Basic computer knowledge, fundamentals of drafting, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other industry-related software.

Salary:

Minimum starting salary is $18.00/hour, higher based on experience and training
