Mechanical/Materials Science Intern

Advanced Composites, Inc. is looking for an intern who will work with the engineering department and complete various engineering projects. The work will include fabrication, testing, and generating reports/technical documentation. Many projects will require independent work while providing updates to the engineering team. Engineering interns will be supervised and report to the VP of Engineering.

HOURS: 

The ideal candidate will be able to work approximately 20 hours per week or more during the school year and 40 hours per week in the summer between the hours 7:00AM to 3:45PM Monday through Friday.  ***Please only apply if you are able to meet the weekly hourly requirement***

REQUIREMENTS: Must be a local candidate residing in Utah. Interested students should be going into junior or senior year with a major in mechanical engineering, material science, or equivalent field. Preference will be given to candidates with some of the following skills- welding, machining, electronics, fabrication, Solidworks, etc. In additional to applicable skills, coursework in materials and mechanics are a plus.
