Lead Engineer, Process Development and Improvement

What you’ll do

  • Identify and implement process improvements to provide plant capacity upgrades, scrap reduction, and production efficiency improvements
  • Design and execute statistically based experiments to optimize processes and manufacturing methodology
  • Design, install, validate, and qualify new equipment to address key gaps in manufacturing
  • Develop and assist in process and product monitoring, including creation of validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ)
  • Work side by side with the manufacturing engineering team on high level improvement projects
  • Identify, analyze, and drive technical issues to resolution
  • Prepare and review performance and functional requirements, risk management, and associated project documents
Who you are

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering practice
  • Bachelor's Degree in a a related engineering degree
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Thrives well working within a cross-functional team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to apply strong fundamental scientific and engineering skills to evaluate and develop processes and offer practical solutions to technical challenges
  • Proficient in statistical data analysis and DOE
  • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with electro-mechanical troubleshooting a plus
