What you’ll do
- Identify and implement process improvements to provide plant capacity upgrades, scrap reduction, and production efficiency improvements
- Design and execute statistically based experiments to optimize processes and manufacturing methodology
- Design, install, validate, and qualify new equipment to address key gaps in manufacturing
- Develop and assist in process and product monitoring, including creation of validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ)
- Work side by side with the manufacturing engineering team on high level improvement projects
- Identify, analyze, and drive technical issues to resolution
- Prepare and review performance and functional requirements, risk management, and associated project documents
Who you are
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering practice
- Bachelor's Degree in a a related engineering degree
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Thrives well working within a cross-functional team environment
- Demonstrated ability to apply strong fundamental scientific and engineering skills to evaluate and develop processes and offer practical solutions to technical challenges
- Proficient in statistical data analysis and DOE
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with electro-mechanical troubleshooting a plus
