Quality Control Analyst I

SCHEDULE: Please list the desired schedule.
Wed-Sat 6am-4:30pm and 10am-8:30pm. Final shift schedule may change based on our needs, but those are the openings that I am trying to fill. Their training schedule may differ when they start.
Summary:
Under supervision, the Microbiology QC Analyst, is responsible for conducting biological or chemical and physical analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, final product samples and other samples collected from manufacturing areas.
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Biology or Biological Sciences required.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience in quality operations, biotechnology, pharmaceutical or similar GMP manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
• Use laboratory instrumentation including but not limited to: analytical equipment, autoclaves, and incubators.
• Perform assays requiring precise analytical skills and understanding of biology and chemistry principles.
• Conduct biological, chemical and physical analyses on raw materials, initial, in-process and final products, and samples collected from environmental monitoring.
• Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company SOPs and specifications, FDA, GLP, QSR and CGMP regulations.
• Investigate nonconformances and write exception documents.
