Event Floral Intern

The Internship Experience
Being an intern for Artisan Bloom is an immersive experience into the world of elevated wedding and event production. You will be surrounded by the best vendors, venues and coordinators in the business. All while basking in the beauty of dramatic floral installations you will help produce. Interns with AB have the opportunity to learn, from start to finish, what goes into large event floral production.                                     

Requirements & Expectations
  • Student enrolled at a 4 year university, (Hospitality, Experience Design, Business, Events, etc)
  • All Black attire is to be worn on production days.
  • Graceful Hustle and an attitude geared towards hands on learning
  • Available 20 - 40 hours a week, Saturdays are mandatory. (Duh, Wedding Days!)
  • Scheduled meetings with management, all university requirements will be met.
  • 90% physical event and hands-on learning, 10% Logistical, conceptual, meetings.
  • PAID, Starting at $12 hr
Outcomes
Finishing an internship with Artisan Bloom will prepare interns to enter the event industry, with a full season of hands on event experience. This experience will give you the leg up on competition in the job market. You will have learned essential floral design skills and techniques, worked in rental inventory management, logistics of event organization and timeline creation. Interns can expect to have open communication with managers, ensuring a fruitful and productive internship. Artisan Bloom interns finish their internships with solid footing and references for careers in the event industry.
