Camp Skylemar is looking for responsible, positive, and energetic staff who can serve as role models, instructors and hero’s next summer. Camp Skylemar is the experience of a lifetime. The personal growth, friendships and excitement will stay with you long after the summer ends. June 12th through August 7th (End date is definite, start date is flexible).

 

Camp Skylemar is a well-established (since 1948) recreational summer camp, located in the southern Maine. In summer, there’s no better place to be than in Maine. Skylemar counselors live, eat, coach/teach, play and supervise campers during a six-week summer camper session. Staff are responsible for cabin and camper cleanliness, safety, fun, and overall happiness of our campers. A staff orientation week and weekly in-service training sessions provide a strong foundation to assume summer responsibilities. 

 

To be a successful staff member you should be: patient, creative, kind, positive, caring, playful, and willing to join in on the fun.  Skylemar staff members are positive role models and heroes to the campers they lead. Many have found that being a counselor at Camp Skylemar is not only an amazing experience but the best job they ever had.
