While working for GTG applicants can expect a deep dive into the innerworkings of one of the worlds fastest moving industries. During your summer tenure at the company you'll be placed on one of our existing teams, working with experienced brokers and salespeople. You'll be exposed to a wide array of challenges and experiences that can help you take the first step into a potential lifelong career in logistics.
Key Responsibilities-
- Work alongside experienced salespeople chasing down leads and negotiating with customers
- Assist brokers in following through on loads secured by GTG
- Explore the levels of organization our entry teams exhibit
Requirements-
- In pursuit of a Bachelor degree or more
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrate a high sense of urgency to meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills, while being forthright about conflict
- Ability to maintain a level head in a fast paced environment
- Great customer service
