Job Title: Junior Geochemist
Location(s): Grand Junction, CO/Westminster, CO
Hiring Range: $45/k - $62/k/yr. (Depending on education, experience, and location)
Status: Full-Time
FLSA: Exempt
 
Job Description:
RSI EnTech, LLC is recruiting for a Junior Geochemist. This position is responsible for Geochemical and Hydrological analysis. This position is required to be in the field up to 10% of the time.
 
Clearance and Health Regiments:
· Criminal Background Check
· Pre-placement Drug Screening
·COVID 19 Vaccination or legally supported exemption
·Fit for Duty Test (if applicable)

Primary responsibilities and essential functions:
·Under senior group members supervision/guidance will conduct technical evaluations, write reports, and give presentations as requested.
·Understands geology, geochemistry, saturated and unsaturated groundwater flow, and contaminant transport principles .
·Conducts field and laboratory work to support hydrogeologic and geochemical evaluations.
 
Work experience required:
· 0 to 5 years of related experience. Technical Training and education in lieu of experience will be considered.
 
Technical knowledge, certifications/licenses and software proficiency required:
· Solid technical foundation in math, physics, and chemistry.
· Valid Driver’s License.
 
Skills and capabilities needed:
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Analytical and problem-solving skills.
 
Desirable qualifications, experience, or proficiencies of the ideal candidate:
·Knowledge of groundwater/reactive transport/geochemical modeling and three-dimensional visualization is a plus.
 
 Required Education:
Minimum of a Masters’ degree in Geochemistry, Geology, Engineering, or Hydrology or closely related field.
 
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: 
Sedentary Work Category – The employee exerts up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
