Chemical Engineering Intern
This position will provide support for the development, validation and implementation of new processes or changes to existing manufacturing processes with primary focus on sanitation and oil refinement. This will include executing engineering studies, documenting all test results, and providing recommendations to manufacturing and engineering. This internship will run from January- April 2022 and offer flexible work hours.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute engineering studies to support development of new and improved processes
- Evaluate current processes to identify opportunities for cost-savings and improvements for manufacturing
- Assist in validation of manufacturing systems
Job Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or other relevant degree
- Previous experience preferred (internship, research, TA, etc)
- Junior year student or above, can be finishing sophomore year currently
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
- Capable of creating technical reports
- Self-motivated and hardworking individual
- Communication and technical writing skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient in Excel
- Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours/week
