Assistant Structural Engineer / Intern
Eriksson Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking structural engineering students for Assistant Structural Engineer / Intern positions. Students will gain valuable knowledge through hands-on experience. Our team of professional engineers is ready to mentor students who have a desire to work in the precast concrete industry. Our offices are located just minutes from USF in Temple Terrace, FL and CU in Arvada, CO. Our part-time internships are very flexible with the student's academic schedule. Our starting salary is $12.00-$15.00/hr for part-time programs. This internship is for structural engineering students only.
Internship Duties:
Participate in the design of a variety of structure types including buildings, bridges and marine structures. (Design media typically includes reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, steel and composites.)
Work collaboratively with CAD techs, BIM modelers, software developers and engineers.
Prepare drawings and sketches using AutoCAD, Revit and Tekla.
Check drawings.
Liaise with others as needed.
Course Requirements:
Taking or completed Structures, required
Concrete Design, preferred
Capstone, a plus
Numerical and Comp Tools 1 and 2, a plus
Intro to Graphic Design, a plus
