Process Quality Engineer (R3601546)
The Process Quality Engineer is responsible for product quality review associated with the manufacturing process. Requires mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge. Requires developing a strong foundation of functional skills and knowledge of relevant technologies.
Essential Responsibilities
The Process Quality Engineer will:
- Provide shop floor support for manufacturing
- Accountable for both quality assurance and quality control of products, manufacturing processes and outside vendor services
- Own gage and CMM validation and out of tolerance investigations
- Develop new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations
- Lead team in defining effective Root Cause Corrective Actions
- Lead investigation for Work Station Audit findings, Product Audit findings, and Customer Returns
- Support manufacturing engineering team to monitor and analyze process capability and define process improvement plans
- Lead analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods
- Strong understanding of QMS AS9100D or similar
- Work together with Rutland team across all levels of the organization
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
- 3 years of Manufacturing experience

- Ability / Flexibility to work varied shifts to support 3-shift operation
