- Product Design and Development
- Electro-mechanical design and component selection
- FEA and engineering calculation
- Design document release
- CAD design and drawing updates
- CFD
- Prototype build and test
- Participation in internal and customer-facing design reviews
- Technical report generation
- Manufacturing Improvements
- Design of facility equipment for new projects
- Drafting work instructions
- Design of tools / jigs
- Participation in Continuous Improvement Projects
- Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support manufacturing.
- Requirements
- US citizenship or Green Card
BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field
Fundamental electrical understanding (basic circuit analysis, etc.)
Experience with CAD (Solidworks Preferred)
Experience with basic mechanical assembly tools (screw drivers, socket wrenches, etc.)
Experience with basic mechanical fabrication tools (drill press, jig saw, etc)
Preferred
Experience with high power systems
Experience with Toyota Production System
Experience in leadership
BS degree. Ability to efficiently and effectively manage time and carry out orders. Good written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail, motivated, self-reliant, and honest.
