Job Responsibilities


Our team is working on LinkWay, a cutting edge tactical satellite communications network. Our team is small but has major impact on the GC4 business. We’ve been awarded contracts for stat-of-the art anti-jamming techniques, essential in today’s complex theater of operations.
A LinkWay software developer is expected to follow the software development processes. Specifically, these entail writing developing requirements, designs, coding in various programming languages and support the test and field teams throughout the lifetime of the product.
The ideal candidate, beyond being a versatile, agnostic programmer, has the ability to multitask, communicate well, is able to produce high quality, well written documentation, can work independently while being able to take the pulse of the team and jump in as needed.

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in CS, EE, CE or related
  • Expertise with multi-threaded applications and inter-process communication
  • Understanding of real-time concepts on embedded Linux or RTOS platforms
  • Experience with C/C++
  • Scripting expertise with Bash, Python or similar
  • Experience with development tools such as Perforce, Git, Crucible, Swarm, Bamboo, Jenkins, JIRA, Bugzilla
  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferences


  • Linux expertise
  • Linux device driver experience
  • Web-based user interface development experience
  • Experience with large-scale wireless communication systems (SATCOM, LTE, etc.)
  • Networking experience: TCP/IP, NAT, L2 Switching, Firewalls, AAA, DHCP
  • Experience managing Cisco switches and routers
  • Experience with Docker
  • Technical writing/documentation experience (Wiki, Word, Visio)
