Job Responsibilities

Viasat is looking for an RF Engineer to join our growing team! Under the direction of the RF engineering staff and management, you will be responsible for engineering support activities assigned during all phases of a new product development cycle or as part of standard product modification/enhancement. These products range from 1 to 60 GHz and consist of systems such as phased-array radars, communication modules, transceivers, and software-defined radios.

As an RF Engineer, you will learn and apply Viasat design, test, and documentation techniques and be given increased engineering responsibilities as your capabilities grow. Component design skills will include power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, mixers, oscillators, filters, and IC packages – some of which that utilize state-of-the-art technologies such as GaAs, GaN, RFICs, and SiGe MMICs. You will work on a collaborative team of system, electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing, and test engineers to ensure successful product design and transition to production. As engineering support, you will be analyzing RF measurement data, resolving production design issues, and improving production yields and test times.
