Job Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer, you will perform full-cycle software development work as a member of a team working on different projects. The work of this team focuses on developing and supporting a Satellite ground station monitoring and control systems. You will be participating in an active software development team that is elevating our products to become a higher end system by adding more features and to be able to support multiple antennas. We are seeking a Software Engineer with experience working in Python or scripting. An ideal candidate will have the knowledge and desire to support work the design, implementation, integration, and test of application software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math, or a related field
- Proficiency coding in Python, C/C++, or Java
- Familiarity with networking and cloud computing concepts.
Preferences
- Previous software development internship experience
- Previous experience developing software monitoring and control software
- Previous experience doing front-end work
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Software architecture familiarity with configuration management tools, development tools (Git, JIRA, Ansible, Jenkins)
- Experience or coursework related to networking and security
- Familiarity with Django web framework.
