Website Manager

Corporate Marketing Responsibilities 
  • Improve, update, and maintain content on Telarus.com, Telarus.ca, tradewindsbrokerage.com.au, and any additional websites. These are all using WordPress.
  • Maintain our websites supplier portfolio, keep logos up to date, and work with our engineering team to ensure correctness in categories and offerings.
  • Maintain our events displayed across all websites.
  • Publish blogs, videos, podcasts, case studies, press releases, and the like.
  • Work closely with our social media manager to publish and promote our content
  • Build new WordPress websites as needed. Two are currently in our queue.
  • Respond to and troubleshoot all website issues.
  • Ensure that the website is protected by enabling the appropriate security measures.
  • Conduct regular content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information.
  • Work with relevant staff to create appropriate website content aligned to the organization’s strategy.
  • Improve the User Experience of the website regularly.
  • Ensure full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations, Google expectations, and international website best practices and compliance. 
  • Keep up to date with industry best practice and monitor competitor websites.
  • Report regularly on-site statistics and analytics.
 
     Partner-facing Responsibilities 
  • Assist our base of selling-partners with their website marketing strategy by providing direct consultation.
  • Work with relevant staff to create and maintain our resources we make available to our partners to help them sell more and look more professional.
  • Temporarily obtain credentials and log into a partner’s website CMS and help with basic improvements.
  • Build and manage our TRP child-brand which acts as umbrella for certain partner websites that we will take ownership of. We expect this to grow into the dozens over the next couple years.
Website Manager Requirements 
  • A degree in website design, computer science, digital marketing, or a related qualification.
  • 1-2 years of work experience as a Website Manager.
  • Proven understanding of SEP best practices and applying that to content assets.
  • Experienced with Google Analytics
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, including spelling, grammar, punctuation as well as composition, editing and proofing
  • Basic understanding of HTML
  • Expertise in design, graphics and layout related to websites
  • Adept at social media platforms and online content management systems
  • Problem solving skills (including ability to handle stressful situations in a professional manner)
Other Desired Experience 
  • Email marketing experience including running email marketing campaigns end-to-end, managing email lists, and creating newsletters.
  • Salesforce experience for tracking partner interactions and pulling email lists
  • Adobe suite exposure and basic understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.
  • Adept Excel spreadsheet skills.
  • Understanding of Google Ads platform and YouTube Ads for creating and running campaigns.
  • Employee must maintain consistent communication with manager throughout his/her employment.
