Test Automation Engineer, Intern - 2022

What you’ll be responsible for: 
You will play a critical role on this team by using your C# or similarly compatible language training to address bugfixes in a proprietary cross-department platform. The Platform you will work in was designed to be a front-end interface for more than 10 enterprise level applications. You will work with industry standard applications Like Microsoft Azure DevOps for tracking tickets within a Kanban. You will attend SCRUMs; you will see the KATA process for tracking CI projects and understand how they translate to department savings. You will get to work in UAT/ development and shadow deployment to production environments.   
Our platform provides a single pane of glass for more than 120 support engineers, management, and sales related roles to quickly access contracts, customer inventory, critical system information & various applicable reports. Visibility over critical system information like aged or stale versions, system mismatch or parity related issues from a top-down topology: from the contract to the device, to the software installed on it. 
For this internship opportunity, will be a part of a small, dedicated team of professionals. Our group was spawned from a deep desire to capitalize on the JH corporate initiative to adopt and embrace industry standards related to Continual Improvement (CI). Our Fast-paced team has been credited with a combined savings of nearly $1.5M in department in 3 short years. We embrace the philosophy of promote from within, which is why our team includes a former member of the intern program.  

What you’ll need to have:
  • Enrolled at an accredited university or technical program with a graduation/completion date of December 2022 or May 2023. 
  • Be able to work up to 40 hours per week throughout the summer internship with minimum absences. 
  • Working knowledge of C# (.Net Core 3+ or .Net 5), ASP.Net (Razor), HTML/CSS 
  • Meet legal requirements to work in the U.S. for an indefinite period of time without any sponsorship. 

What would be nice for you to have: 
  • Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or Computer Engineering. 
  • Familiar with Bootstrap layout 
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills. 
  • Basic understanding of the FinTech industry.
