Continuous Improvement Intern
1.Support Continuous Improvement programs throughout the facility
- Process Mapping – Gain understanding and document processes in the manufacturing environment
- Managing for Daily Improvement (MDI) – Attend MDI meetings and provide new perspective on ways to improve
- Standard Work – Help create Standard Work in the manufacturing environment
2.Lead an improvement project
- Work with a cross-functional team to complete an improvement project
- Collect data, make a recommendation, and implement as time allows
- Facilitate change
3.Provide analytical support to the CI team by conducting research, compiling information, preparing presentations and materials, and all other support as needed or requested.
4.Be an ‘on the floor’ resource in the assigned facility
