Manufacturing Engineer Intern

Real World Responsibilities:
During your time with us you will:
  • Support startup operations of new product lines and provide daily engineering support for existing product lines
  • Problem-solve issues on the line causing production delays and utilize lean concepts to make improvements
  • Develop and evaluate Engineering Change Request, Engineering Change Notice, and Special Manufacturing
  • Instruction documents 
As part of our team we will:
  • Provide you with real-work assignments that will provide you valuable experience as you begin your career
 
Must haves:
  • Currently pursuing an ABET accredited degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
  • Ability to work full-time for 3 months in Moses Lake, WA
  • Desire to work in a hands-on work environment in a manufacturing plant
  • Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Ability to work in a team environment
 
Nice to haves:
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and goals
  • Experience in hands-on club (FSAE/Baja, etc.)
  • Positive and energetic
  • Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks/projects at one time, and/or project management experience
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
