Real World Responsibilities:
During your time with us you will:
- Support startup operations of new product lines and provide daily engineering support for existing product lines
- Problem-solve issues on the line causing production delays and utilize lean concepts to make improvements
- Develop and evaluate Engineering Change Request, Engineering Change Notice, and Special Manufacturing
- Instruction documents
As part of our team we will:
- Provide you with real-work assignments that will provide you valuable experience as you begin your career
Must haves:
- Currently pursuing an ABET accredited degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
- Ability to work full-time for 3 months in Moses Lake, WA
- Desire to work in a hands-on work environment in a manufacturing plant
- Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Ability to work in a team environment
Nice to haves:
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and goals
- Experience in hands-on club (FSAE/Baja, etc.)
- Positive and energetic
- Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks/projects at one time, and/or project management experience
- Attention to detail and accuracy
