Undergraduate Research Assistant

The Coding in Kindergarten Research Team is currently seeking an outstanding undergraduate student for an Undergraduate Research Assistant (URA) position. We are a research group from TEAL and ITLS that investigates the integration of computer science and mathematics learning in kindergarten classrooms. We are looking for undergraduates with interest and experience in elementary school mathematics teaching and/or integrated STEM teaching. The URA’s main responsibilities in this project will include collecting assessment data in kindergarten classrooms, developing materials, organizing data, and attending research team meetings. Other tasks related to the project could include data analysis and writing. The URAs for this project will be paid $10/hour for 10 hours per week, and the position begins January 2022.


The Coding in Kindergarten Research Team is an interdisciplinary research group from the School of Teacher Education and Leadership (TEAL) and the Department of Instructional Technology and Learning Sciences (ITLS). Experience preferred, but training will be provided.
