Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 Software Engineering Internship/Co-op

This hourly paid opportunity position will involve project and contract work and may be in the office, on customer sites or a combination of both. Candidates will have the opportunity to help provide custom software automation solutions to customer’s industrial manufacturing needs. This includes SCADA and MES level solutions as well as other custom software applications. Application development would include creating easy to use and understand UI’s, database interaction and development, integration of business level software to production floor software to share data via SQL queries, API calls, etc. Candidates will learn how the development of these data collection software applications can give our customers a better visual representation of how well their manufacturing facility is actually running.  Interest and experience in, but not limited to, SCADA/MES application design, python scripting, SQL Database interaction ERP interaction. Responsibilities will vary depending on the specific project needs including software design, software development, network design, implementation, installation, validation and startup as well as customer support. Candidates should be flexible self-starters with a strong work ethic and enjoy working in a variety of industries. Position may include occasional short-term travel. All applicants must hold a valid US driver’s license. Relocation required. Housing available. Supervised by senior engineers.
