Senior Engineering Technician/Test Operations

Functional Responsibilities
The Senior Engineering Technician for Test Operations Support is responsible for establishing the Project and equipment baseline. They will verify the procedures required to perform a successful System Operational Test (SOT) with Government representatives. 
 
Description of Duties
The Senior Engineering Technician for Test Operations Support will be responsible for the identification, analysis and evaluation of risks and continual monitoring throughout the project. More detailed responsibilities are: 
·  Coordinates Test Support Technicians 
o Operation of consoles / equipment 
o Dry-running and validation of test procedures 
o Supporting missions and test events 
·  Analysis of post-test operations 
·  Preparing all test documentation. 
·  Technical communications, systems schematics, and other information to design and implement system configurations required for various tests
·  Preparing test scenarios 
·  Data collection, data analysis and documenting the configuration of items under test 
·  Preparing Quicklook Reports and Final Reports 
·  Complete actions as assigned to mitigate identified risks
 
Minimum Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering Discipline and 10+ years of related experience or MS with 8+ years of related experience
  • Additional direct work experience of 6 years may be a substitute for a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
  • ​Skilled in test software/hardware development design, implementation, and integration
  • Skilled in Design for Test (DFT) paradigms
  • Experienced working on a cross discipline team
  • Possess good communication skills including interpersonal communication and team communication
  • Takes initiative and has a closure-oriented nature
  • Ability to lead Test Engineers while successfully collaborating with, and influencing other managers or engineers from other disciplines
  • Motivated, team-oriented individual with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Required Skills and Certifications:
·      DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance within 90 days of signing the contingent hire offer letter
·      As a condition of continued employment, you must maintain an active security clearance

·      Proficient in MS Office Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and Power Point
·      Strong attention to detail with organizational and problem-solving skills
·      Ability to interface constructively with US Government and Industry teammates
·      Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
·      Ability to work independently and pro-actively in providing high quality services
