Flight Test Intern
Job Description:
- Essential Job Functions
- Create flight test plans
- Create flight test cards
- Perform weight and balance calculations
- Perform experimental flight test data acquisition, reduction, expansion, and reporting tasks in support of research and development and certification programs
- Assist in managing test asset configuration
- Perform statistical data logging and performance metric analysis
- Track dispatched flight test aircraft per the company Safety Management System requirementsÂ
Qualifications:
Must be a degree-bound undergraduate engineering student in their third year or higher, or a graduate level engineering student.
Preferred Education and Experience
Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering major
Previous experience in flight testing or flight test specific course work
Pilot’s certificate(s)/rating(s)
