Youth Leader
The Youth Leader is responsible for leading and coaching the 13-16 year old participants within interactive and purposeful activities and through team based relationships and learning. Help students discover their unique gifts, talents, and passions and begin to point them to how they can make a difference in the world around them. Invest in middle school and high school students through experiential activities, small groups, and individual coaching.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Support Young Leader Director in the facilitation of daily Bible studies and activities designed for spiritual formation, leadership development, and character development.
- Help welcome and orient youth to Wildwood upon arrival
- Help Director execute schedule and track student’s participation in all activities
- Assist in the execution of Young Leader weekends
- Assist in the selection of program graduates and the implementation and celebration of the graduation ceremonies
- Distribute and collect coaching cards for participants
