RISE Intern - June 2022
The RISE Internship is a year-long placement that provides recent college graduates the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the mental health field. As a member of the RISE program, interns work as a direct care staff in Eliada's various residential facilities. Throughout their time at Eliada, interns become familiar with how to work and interact with children and adolescents who have been diagnosed with a variety of mental illnesses, from post-traumatic stress to oppositional defiant disorder. Interns are also able to participate in the many therapeutic and recreational activities that we have in place for our students.
The internship includes:
*Some meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) at no extra cost
*40 hours scheduled weekly, opportunities for overtime

QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from a 4 year college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field required. Position requires qualities such as flexibility, leadership skills, a strong academic performance, and a history of community involvement; must have a demonstrated ability to work in a high pressure, high stress environment.
