You will receive hands-on mentorship while working on real-world civil works and military infrastructure projects with the USACE Kansas City District, Engineering Division!

Duties

  • At the full performance level you will:
  • Serve as Technical Lead for in-house military and civil works projects, coordinating the overall development of plans, specifications, and design documentation reports.
  • Determine design criteria and adapting new design methods to existing standards as the Project Design Engineer.
  • Develop design memoranda and specifications for infrastructure such as roads, boat ramps, drainage structures, and public use areas.
  • Prepare site plans, preliminary and final designs, and specifications for infrastructure including roads, buildings, and utilities.
  • Provide civil design support for Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive (HTRW) projects, including the development of site plans, drainage, and utilities.
