Structural Engineer Intern
Our Structural Engineering practice collaborates with architects, building owners, and builders to design elegant solutions for projects of all types, sizes, and levels of complexity. From designing the world’s tallest buildings and most extended spans to engineering inventive “jewel-box” structures and designing major expansion projects, we continually seek the best balance among the demands of form, function, sustainability, constructability, schedule, and budget.
The Thornton Tomasetti Construction Engineering Practice leverages our core Structural Engineering expertise to meet the engineering needs of our contractor. We provide contractor support engineering, tower crane engineering, skip hoist engineering, shoring and reshoring design, connection design, and erection engineering. We also partner with contractors and sub-contractors to provide value engineering ideas and perform structural design on design-build projects. This internship is intended for students seeking a Summer 2027 internship experience.
