Civil/Structural Engineer - Bridges
McNary Bergeron is looking for talented and motivated individuals to join our team. As an employee, you will participate in challenging and complex bridge projects that are located worldwide while utilizing advanced technology.
Job Description
- Perform basic analysis on structures to determine demands
- Design members and connections to support construction activities from steel, concrete, and timber
- Communicate details and designs via drawings
- Prepare calculations in support of original designs
- Solve unique problems and exercise creativity
- Communicate with clients and maintain relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a focus on structural engineering
- 0 to 3 years experience in a related field, and be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- Organized and hard-working
- Experience and proficiency with AutoCAD or Microstation
- Experience or coursework in steel, concrete, and timber design with relevant codes (AASHTO, AISC, ACI, NDS)
- Be willing to work in one of our three offices (Broomfield, CO – Tampa, FL – Old Saybrook, CT) with a preference for CT or FL
