What you will be doing:
The Bridge Drafting and Geo-Spatial Engineering Assistant plays a hands-on role in the drafting of bridge design projects and processing of information collected during bridge inspections. You'll be involved in a variety of exciting tasks, from preparing construction plan sheets to conducting bridge inspections to assisting with the collection and processing of bridge management data. Under the guidance of licensed engineers, you'll prepare preliminary bridge layouts and detailed final plans using AutoCAD. You'll also assist with drone and sonar data collection efforts. Position Perks:

  • Preparation for the PE exam – frequent trainings and mentoring towards licensure
  • Combination of office and field assignments – all staff complete one or more summer inspection trips throughout the state lasting 1-2 weeks
