Student Recruitment and Retention Intern
The Strategic Enrollment Team in the College of Arts & Sciences (ArtSci) is seeking applications for a Student Recruitment and Retention Intern whose role will focus on communication campaigns and alumni research. Specific duties will include crafting outreach messages in a variety of media such as text messages and mailed letters, tracking outreach efforts and respective outcomes, conducting alumni research on social media and other sites, and providing regular updates in the Strategic Enrollment Team’s weekly meeting. The intern will work closely with the College Recruiter, Internship Specialist, Data Specialist, and Strategic Enrollment Team Lead, gaining exposure to multiple facets of enrollment and student success initiatives.
We are seeking a student who is eager to engage in real-world communication campaigns and project management that will enrich their professional portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a strong writer, a creative thinker, an organized recordkeeper, a persistent researcher, and a thoughtful planner. This position is particularly well suited for students studying technical communication, public relations, communication studies, marketing, journalism, or related fields.
Expected hours of work will vary throughout the academic year, with an average of 10 hours per week.
