Engineering Intern (Summer) – Aurubis Richmond

Aurubis Richmond is seeking a motivated Engineering Intern to support our Project Engineering team. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Project Engineer with ongoing capital and process improvement projects

Support data collection, analysis, and documentation efforts

Participate in project planning, tracking, and coordination activities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, and quality

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with engineering tools/software is a plus

Effective communication and organizational skills

Schedule & Details:

Full-time hours during the summer

Part-time flexibility required into the early fall semester (August/September)

Fully onsite in Augusta, GA

Pay rate: $24/hour
