In this role, you’ll work hands‑on with hydraulic actuators, data acquisition systems, instrumentation, and custom test setups while collaborating closely with engineers and researchers to execute complex loading protocols and validate cutting‑edge designs. The position offers the chance to contribute to impactful research, solve real‑world engineering challenges, and operate in a dynamic environment where safety, precision, and creativity are essential. If you enjoy building things, breaking things (on purpose), and learning from the results, this is a place where your curiosity and technical skills will thrive.

Additional research responsibilities typically include reviewing prior research documents, building with common and novel construction materials (steel, concrete, wood, etc.), using sensors to collect and analyze data, and writing technical reports to document the research findings.
