Extension Livestock/Range Intern - Box Elder County

Responsibilities
Program & Event Support
- Assist with planning and hosting Range Camp for Ag Teachers in June
- Assist with Sheep and Goat Workshops and Range Camp for Ag Teachers in June
Research & Evaluation
- Help establish Phragmites study sites and collect pre-grazing data
- Conduct pre/post surveys and follow-up evaluations
Education & Content Development
- Assist in writing fact sheets for Sheep and Goat Workshops
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Be an undergraduate student
- Have an interest in the Extension program
- Be dependable
Preferred:
- Have a understanding of Range/Grazing Management
- Be proficient in Word/Excel
- Be available to travel-occasionally overnight
