Project Manager - Civil

PROJECT MANAGER - CIVIL

Flare Construction, LLC  |  A Quanta Services Company 

We're looking for Project Managers (Level I, II, or III) to lead or support civil construction projects across the western U.S. You'll manage scope, schedule, budget, and client relationships for projects ranging from powerline ROW and substation civil work to site remediation and infrastructure development. The level of ownership and complexity scales with your experience — from supporting senior PMs at Level I to independently leading high-value, complex projects at Level III. 

This position is office-based in Coalville, UT, with frequent travel to project sites and client meetings across the western U.S. 

Project Focus

  • Powerline right-of-way grading and transmission corridor civil work 
  • Substation site development and civil construction 
  • Site remediation and environmental restoration projects 
  • Roads, bridges, grading, and heavy civil infrastructure 

What you'll do:

  • Manage or support civil construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. 
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, work plans, and deliverables. 
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, engineers, and field personnel. 
  • Prepare and track project documentation: RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports. 
  • Conduct site visits and participate in safety and quality oversight. 
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability. 
  • Support Senior PMs in planning and executing smaller projects. 
  • Budget tracking, schedule monitoring, and documentation. 
  • Field visits and safety and quality inspections. 

What you'll bring:

  • 1–3 years of construction or project coordination experience (civil preferred). 
  • Familiarity with construction estimating and scheduling. 
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred. 
  • OSHA 30 preferred. Valid driver's license required. 

Education & Certifications  

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred). Equivalent field or military experience considered.  

Certifications:  

  • OSHA 30 Certification (preferred)  
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred)  
  • Valid driver’s license (required)
