Job Title: Chemical Lab Technician 

Location:  8531 NE Cornell Rd, Suite B300, Hillsboro, OR 97124  (100% onsite)

Shift timing: M - F; 08:00AM - 05:00PM

(40hrs/week, 12M contract, $23/hr on W2 & 5 PTO days)

 

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 2 years of lab experience; preferably in an industrial or pilot plant environment.

 

SKILLS:

  • Wet chemistry skills (required).
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with semiconductor processing is a plus.

    Responsibilities:
  • The lab technician will be supervised by engineers and lab manager and is expected to be able to independently function in the scope provided below.
  • Perform lab experiments daily, document and communicate results to support customer-oriented R&D projects.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures in conducting daily work, handling chemical and operating lab equipment.
  • Support customer sample manufacturing in pilot scale.
  • Assist shipping and receiving of chemicals.
  • Responsible for lab maintenance and inventory.
  • Exhibit flexibility and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Contribute ideas that improve the safety, efficiency and/or the overall effectiveness of the laboratory and team.
