Operational Technology Engineering Intern

Early Talent Program Overview  

The Terex Early Talent Program is a strategic initiative designed to identify and develop the future leaders of our global organization. What You’ll Do 

  • During your time with us you will: 
  • Collaborate with operational and technology teams at Genie to replace manual data collection and manual information sharing with automated digital solutions 
  • Develop interactive systems that add value to our team members. 

 

What You’ll Bring 

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, automation, or similar field 
  • Able to work full-time 40 hours per week for the agreed upon duration of the internship 
  • Experience and comfortable with logical and functional programming with an understanding of data types 
  • An initiative and hands-on approach to problem solving  
  • Ability to confidently collaborate with a variety of team members  

Nice to Haves 

  • Interest in joining the Leadership Development Programs after graduation 
  • Experience with Low Code/No Code application building 
  • Experience programming with Python, JavaScript, Tulip, or NodeRed 
  • Experience connecting Internet of Things devices and collecting data 
  • Experience visualizing data to provide meaningful insight 
     

The compensation for this position is $26/hr for undergraduate interns and $28/hr for graduate or returning interns. This position is eligible for holiday pay.
