8th Grade Social Studies Teacher

The Neosho School District is searching for an 8th Grade Social Studies Teacher to provide engaging, standards-aligned instruction in U.S. and/or World History for junior high students. The teacher promotes critical thinking, civic understanding, and historical analysis while supporting students’ academic and social-emotional development.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver instruction aligned with state and district standards

Develop engaging lessons using a variety of instructional strategies

Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs

Assess student learning and maintain accurate records

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Communicate with families and collaborate with staff

Participate in professional development and school activities

Qualifications:

Current Missouri teaching certification in appropriate grade level and subject area
