What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and test software for microprocessor-based hardware and embedded systems
  • Support performance, reliability, and responsiveness of embedded applications
  • Help identify and troubleshoot bugs and performance issues
  • Contribute to maintaining clean, organized, and well-documented code
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to document firmware, hardware, and system-level design practices

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
  • Internship, co-op, project, or early-career experience in embedded systems, manufacturing, or industrial environments
  • Working knowledge of C or other languages used for microcontroller-based development
  • Familiarity with embedded systems concepts and common peripherals (SPI, I2C, UART, ADC, etc.)
  • Exposure to version control tools such as Git
  • Basic understanding of PCB schematics and hardware design principles
  • Comfort working with lab equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, power supply, etc.)
  • Exposure to industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA) is a plus
  • Hands-on experience through coursework, labs, or projects building hardware and/or software prototypes
