Power Amplifier RD Engineer Intern

Position: Jr. RF Power Amplifier RD Engineer Intern
Number of Position(s):
Duration: 10 weeks  
Date: June – August 2026  
Location: Dallas, Texas - Onsite   

EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS 
Currently a candidate for a Master’s or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field at an accredited school in the US.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Participate in new product design and assist in troubleshooting prototype and field issues.
  • Support circuit design, analog simulations, and RF performance testing.
  • Assist with component selection, schematic drawing, soldering, and lab test setups.
  • Conduct reliability calculations and help analyze/present test results that contribute to design decisions.
  • Learn to work with test equipment and automation tools in a lab environment.

 

Your skills and experience

  • Interest in wireless communication systems, analog circuit design, and RF testing.
  • Comfortable using lab equipment such as spectrum testing devices, signal generators, network evaluation tools, oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and power supplies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word and Excel).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a team-oriented and hands-on mindset.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience in RF hardware design or validation testing.
  • Exposure to schematic design and PCB layout tools.
  • Familiarity with RF/analog simulation tools.
  • Ability to research and present technical data.
  • Python scripting knowledge.
