Staff Civil Engineer

RB&G Engineering, a Utah civil engineering firm, seeks applicants to join our staff as a staff civil engineer. 

This is an entry-level / early-career position providing diverse civil engineering training and career development opportunities.  The staff engineer will be based in our office in Provo, Utah, working primarily along the Wasatch front. This is a full-time position eligible for health insurance, paid holidays, vacation, personal/sick leave, and other benefits. 

Job duties will include civil design, construction engineering, construction inspection, and plan review.  Project work would include pre-construction and construction engineering for highway and bridge projects, the design of roadways, water systems, and drainage systems, and on-site construction administration.     

The majority of our current projects are in the fields of transportation (roads, bridges, trails, lots). The position involves working both in the office and on location at job sites within the state of Utah.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Passed Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
• Plans to become licensed as a professional engineer after obtaining the required experience.
• Current driver's license and clean driving record (no outstanding DUIs). 
• Integrity, punctuality, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail. 
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and continue to work in a drug-free environment. 

Additional Information

Starting pay is estimated at $70,000 to $85,000 annually, depending on experience and other qualifications.
