Data Analyst
The Analytics Solutions Center is looking for an excellent student to serve in a data analyst role!
Responsibilities
As a student data analyst, you will have the unique opportunity to work on a 12 to 16-week collaborative data analytics project. Under the supervision of a faculty member and alongside a team of student data analysts, you will be assisting an industry partner in addressing data issues by applying your skills in data analytics. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Utilizing tools for analytics programming, web programming, statistical analysis, database management, project management, and more to identify solutions for the industry partner.
- Participating in regular management and progress meetings, which may occur 1-3 times weekly, with faculty and external supervisors and the student team.
- Maintaining open and effective communication with other student analysts to organize individual and group tasks.
Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Coursework or experience in understanding data, basic statistics and analytics, and programming.
- Prior analytics-related internship or other employment or applied experience is a plus.
